Jonathan Cattel

Jonathan Cattel studied the Foundation Degree in Hospitality Management between 2004-2006 at South Devon College. Having previously studied an NVQ 3 in Food Preparation Jonathan was well prepared for many aspects of the course. Jonathan had a rich and varied employment background that gave him many opportunities to reflect on during the course. Jonathan achieved a Foundation Degree with Distinction before continuing his studies for a further year to achieve a BSc (Hons) in Hospitality Management. Jonathan is currently working as an events consultant in London

Dan Thompson

Dan Thompson studied the Foundation Degree in Hospitality Management between 2005-2007.  Dan came from an NVQ Food Preparation and Service background. Whilst undertaking his NVQ’s Dan was working in the Hyatt Regency in Birmingham and decided to move to Devon to study his higher education course.  Dan achieved well on the course and at the end of his studies he was appointed Duty Manager of the Thurlestone Hotel in South Devon where he is currently working.
